There’s (Still) Something About Phoebe

We’re all still waiting for Phoebe Philo to make her long awaited return to fashion. Luckily for the Philophiles amongst us, there was some old Céline during Paris Fashion Week. Luxury resale company Re-SEE hosted a sale at their head office with Instagram account Old Céline Archive, selling about 200 pieces from Philo’s time at the luxury house. We were lucky enough to attend, and loved the sense of community during the event. The shared passion for Philo’s designs resulted in simple interactions with strangers, from a slight affirmative nod to complementing each other’s outfits, to running into old friends. Writer Jessica Testa speaks with the Re-See founders, the woman behind the Old Céline Archive Instagram account and women who attended the sale. For those who missed out on the event, the sale will be continuing online from the 9th of October on resee.com.

We spoke with Park not too long ago about curation, the digitization of art and design and the danger of trends. We’ve always appreciated her curated take on style, and always enjoy reading about her take on design, interiors and culture at large.

Exploding Clay With Nathalee Paolinelli

Firstly, we love Paolinelli’s paper-thin pottery. Nathalee Paolinelli’s work almost looks too fine to touch, with shapes inspired by natural and organic shapes. The Vancouver-based ceramicist speaks with writer Molly Randhawa about her creative process.
