At Galerie Negropontes, Contemporary Pieces Are Steeped in French Tradition 

After a stint working in marketing and textiles, Sophie Negropontes decided to follow in her fathers footsteps and embark on a career in the art industry. She dreamt of opening her own gallery, offering limited edition or bespoke contemporary pieces. Negropontes opened her first gallery on Paris’ Left Bank. She collaborated with numerous artists and asked longtime friend Hervé Langlais to complement the artist’s creations with yearly furniture collections. In 2019 the gallery moved to its current location, and since then Negropontes has expanded to 13 artists.
