For its SS23 show, The Row featured vintage objects by 20th-century French jewelry designer and decorative artists Line Vautrin. She is best known for the objects and jewelry she created, often involving ideas of symbolism. Born into a family that owned a bronze foundry, Vautrin taught herself gilding and metalworking. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have always shared their interest in specific designers, artists and sculptors. Over the years, The Row has sold multiple vintage pieces through the curated ‘Galerie’ section on their website. This time around, The Row has partnered with Mon Vintage, a vintage sourcing platform, to collect 14 Vautrin pieces dating from 1930-1965. The New York-based brand will be exclusively selling Vautrin’s rare pieces at their stores, by appointment only.
